Class of 2026 offensive tackle Kenton Mondeau announced his commitment to Indiana on Monday evening.

He posted this statement with his verbal pledge:

The 6-foot-7 and 315-pound Mondeau attends North High School in Eau Claire, Wisc.  He also plays basketball and throws the shot put and disc on the track and field team.

According to the average of the national rankings, Mondeau is a 3-star prospect and the No. 91 overall offensive tackle in the 2026 class.

Mondeau previously visited IU in March and the Hoosiers offered him in May.  He’s scheduled to be back in Bloomington for an official visit later this month.

He also had offers from Iowa State, Wake Forest, Ohio, Air Force, Central Michigan, Northern Illinois and others.

Junior season highlights for Mondeau are below.  He played on both sides of the ball as a junior.

Indiana now has a ten-player class of 2026 and two offensive linemen verbally committed.  IU’s class is ranked No. 32 in the nation and 12th in the Big Ten.  Here are the nine other players Mondeau joins, with links to more information about each player.

    1. Gabe Hill, Naperville, Illinois, DL (4-star)
    2. Henry Ohlinger, Columbus, Ohio, LB/RB (4-star)
    3. Jay Timmons, Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, DB (4-star)
    4. Kasmir Hicks, Indianapolis, Indiana, CB/WR (3-star)
