Curt Cignetti called his shot in late July, even when tickets were still available for every home game.
“We create a lot of excitement around here, and I expect us to have great crowds,” he said.
The excitement has returned, as IU is back in the top-10, and 5-0 for a second straight season.
And for the second straight year, Indiana has sold out the final four home games of the regular season.
On Friday afternoon IU Athletics announced the final home game of the 2025 campaign — against Wisconsin — is sold out. Previous sellouts were announced for the Illinois, Michigan State and UCLA games.

IU hosted their second-largest home crowd ever when 56,088 watched them beat Illinois 63-10. Through four games the Hoosiers are averaging 48,304 per contest. With three sellouts coming, the average attendance for 2025 should exceed 2024.
Last year’s average attendance was 48,374, making 2024 the fourth-best attended season on an average per game basis.
Before they return home, No. 8/9 Indiana (5-0) travels to No. 2 Oregon (5-0) a week from Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff (CBS).
