IU coaches hit the road for lone spring live period, one major circuit in Indianapolis area

The one and only live recruiting period of the spring is upon this weekend, and that means college basketball coaches will descend upon various national high school basketball events across the country over the next few days.

Given the limited opportunities to watch players in person and make their presence felt, look for the IU staff — Mike Woodson and his three assistant coaches — to be out in full force this weekend.

The major events are open to the public, and one is close to a significant portion of the Indiana fan base.

For IU fans in the Indianapolis area, the Nike EYBL Circuit will be in the north suburbs this weekend, with class of 2025 players at the Pacers Athletic Center in Westfield, Ind., and younger players at the new Lebanon Farmers Bank Fieldhouse.  Games will be held Friday afternoon through Sunday at the two facilities.

Here are the main class of 2025 players IU is recruiting who are competing at the EYBL stop in Indiana this weekend:

    • Jalen Haralson (Indy Heat)
    • Brady Koehler (Indy Heat)
    • Meleek Thomas (New Heights)
    • Darius Adams (PSA Cardinals)
    • Kiyan Anthony (Team Melo)
    • Trey McKenney (The Family)
    • Darius Acuff (The Family)
    • Alex Alston (Mac Irvin)
    • Caleb Wilson (Nightrydas)
    • Hudson Greer (JL3)

The Daily Hoosier will have coverage from the Nike EYBL action.

The Adidas Circuit is in Bryan, Texas.  The Indiana Elite 2025 team that features IU targets Braylon Mullins, Trent Sisley and Malachi Moreno will be in action there.  Other 2025 IU targets playing there will include Mikel Brown (Team Loaded North Carolina) and Nate Ament (Team Loaded Virginia).

The Under Armour Circuit is in Hamilton, Ohio.  2025 IU guard targets Chance Mallory and Tyler Jackson play there for Team Thrill, and forward Bryson Tiller runs with Atlanta Xpress.
