Indiana and the Buckeyes tip-off at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.

    ———————————————————————–

    FINAL: Wisconsin 76, Indiana 64

    Image

    SECOND HALF

    70-52 Wisconsin with 3:24.

    • Four double-figure scorers for Wisconsin, and Indiana has one with 10 points. They lead the turnover margin 11-5. They’ve outrebounded Indiana 35-31, and have made 11 threes to IU’s six. The Badgers have singlehandedly dominated the Hoosiers since tip-off, but it’s not even the first time we have seen this happen against Indiana.

    61-45 Badgers with 6:46 left.

    • Decent stretch for Indiana. I’ll go ahead and give Bryson Tucker some props. Nine points and five rebounds after struggling to find any meaningful playing time the past few games. Has shown some bright spots in this one.

Badger lead grows to 22. UW up 58-36 with 10:55 left.

    • Ugly game all-around for the Hoosiers. 30% from the field as a team with 10 turnovers, and have given up 10 three-pointers. Looking like the quest for a win in the Kohl Center will continue.
    • Usually, I can pinpoint one player on IU who has shown a good effort, but I’m having a hard time finding any bright spot. No player is in double figures yet.

Wisconsin up 48-32 with 15:36 left in the game.

    • Indiana’s terrible start has anchored them down this entire game, but they haven’t started out this half well either. Five turnovers and 1-3 from the field.
    • Max Klesmit torched Indiana last year with 26 points and is having a similar impact so far in this one. 11 points and five assists on the night.

    HALFTIME: Wisconsin 40, Indiana 28

Ignore the 42. Ballo’s goaltend was waived off.

    FIRST HALF

Wisconsin leads 36-22 with 3:15 left in the game.

    • The Badgers lead the assist numbers with 10 to Indiana’s four. They also have a 17-16 advantage on the glass.
    • Indiana is 2-for-13 from beyond the arc so far. Some looks have been decent, but a lot of them have not been that great. Wisconsin has played complimentary defense so far.

Badger lead is cut to 33-20 with 7:52 left.

    • Indiana are three of their last four from the field. Bryson Tucker has two made three-pointers for Indiana, which is already more than he had coming into the game.
    • Rice is up to eight points, with four coming from the line. He had zero points against Purdue.

Badgers up 26-6 with 11:43 left in the half.

    • Goodness. Hoosiers are 2-of-11 from the field and have not made a shot from outside. Rice has four points to lead Indiana, but they’re one for their last eight as a team. Rough start, and that’s being kind.
    • Anyone could have told you Wisconsin boasts a strong outside-shooting team, but it looks like IU had no idea. Way too open on all of their attempts so far.

It’s a 20-point game in the first six minutes. Wisconsin up 24-4.

    • Wow. This is outrageous. Wisconsin is 6-7 from three.

Oof. Pregame pick looking a bit too optimistic. Indiana trails 13-2 with 16:29 left in the half.

    • Wisconsin with three early 3-pointers in the early going, with not a lot of pressure coming from IU’s defense. Badgers on an 8-0 run.
    • IU is 1-5 from the field to start, with Rice with the only bucket. 0-for-4 from beyond the arc as well.

    PREGAME NOTES

    • It looks like Myles Rice and Kanaan Carlyle are both QUESTIONABLE for tonight. Carlyle is not warming up, but Rice is. Curious to see if there is any lineup change as a result. Wisconsin’s report is clean.
    • The last time Indiana won at Wisconsin was in 1998. Woodson was 39 and an assistant with the Milwaukee Bucks.
    • No lineup changes: Rice, Leal, Mgbako, Reneau, and Ballo
