Indiana and the Panthers tip off at 7 p.m. ET on FS1.

    ———————————————————————–

    SECOND HALF

Hoosiers lead 65-50 with 11:50 left.

    • I will hold firm that Indiana could very well be up by 25-30 by this point, and it’s not really their fault that they aren’t. Milwaukee has made some very, very tough shots. Amar Augillard leads them with 14.
    • I’ve been a fan of how Jasai Miles has played in his time on the floor. Definitely not stuffing the stat sheet, but seems to be in the mix on pretty much every loose ball and rebound. He can be a very helpful role player if he keeps it up.

Indiana leads 57-44 with 15:53 left to play.

    • Milwaukee will just not go away. Hoosiers are playing pretty good defense, but the Panthers have been able to match IU well offensively.
    • Haven’t seen a ton from Tucker DeVries tonight. He’s at four points and only has four attempts from the field.

    HALFTIME: Indiana 51 – Milwaukee 39

    FIRST HALF

Indiana up 43-31 with 3:31 left in the half.

    • Hoosiers are playing some pretty good defense, but the Panthers are knocking down some very tough shots. It could easily be a 20+ point deficit, but Milwaukee is staying with it.
    • Offensively, things are really starting to click for IU. They’re 7-11 from downtown and 63 percent from the field overall. A few good defensive possessions, and this game is blown open.

Credit to Milwaukee for a nice comeback. 26-21 Hoosiers with 8:32.

    • IU’s defense has been strictly ok. They’re forcing Milwaukee pretty high, but the Panthers have gotten some open looks and capitalized on them. They’re shooting 40 percent from the field.
    • Indiana is behind on the rebounding margin as well, 12-9. Milwaukee has been able to grab five offensive rebounds so far.

Here they come. Indiana up 19-8 with 12:24 in the half.

    • Trent Sisley with a nice spark off the bench for the Hoosiers. Six quick points on two corner threes. Playing some nice defense on the other end as well.
    • Sam Alexis checked in, fouled twice, and checked right back out. That’s going to be a key thing IU needs to avoid, especially for their bigs. Cannot afford to lose depth inside.

Hoosiers up 8-6 through the first media timeout, 15:29 left in the half.

    • Indiana is a little slow to start from the field, shooting 3-8 so far. Have also given up a turnover. Not anything to be scared of by any means.
    • I’m still waiting to see some touch around the rim from Reed Bailey. He gets to his spots off the dribble very well, but doesn’t go up very strongly. It’s not necessarily something IU needs, but the lack of post presence is a weak spot for this team.

    PREGAME NOTES

    • Nothing new to report from an injury standpoint. Nick Dorn continues to go through warmups, but it is unclear if he will play.
    • This has the chance to be Indiana’s highest scoring output so far this season. Milwaukee’s defense, by a metrics standpoint, is not the greatest.
    • Darian DeVries states that Nick Dorn is available to play tonight, per his pregame radio spot.
    • No changes to the starting lineup, however. Still Enright, Conerway, Wilkerson, DeVries, and Bailey.
