Indiana and Chattanooga tip-off at Noon ET on BTN.

    ———————————————————————–

    FINAL: Indiana 74, Chattanooga 65

    SECOND HALF

Hoosiers lead 67-61 with 2:40 left.

    • Ugly second half of the second half. Indiana is one of their last nine from the field, and just broke a six-minute scoring drought.
    • They’re lucky Chattanooga has also been struggling. The Mocs are one for their last eight.

Indiana up 64-56 with 7:53 left.

    • Game not entirely out of reach for Chattanooga. Indiana have zero makes from their last five attempts.
    • Indiana has been doing well on ball security this game. Only six turnovers so far.

Hoosiers up 61-51 with 11:23 left in the game.

    • Tale of two halves once again inside Bloomington. Hoosiers outscoring the Mocs 20-13 in the second half.
    • Mackenzie Mgbako and Malik Reneau each with 12 points, which leads the Hoosiers. Ballo with 9, Carlyle with 8.

Indiana with a 51-42 lead with 16:46 left.

    • Quick start for the Hoosiers on offense. Two made threes to start out, one from Mgbako and Galloway.

    HALFTIME: Indiana 41, Chattanooga 38

    FIRST HALF

Chattanooga up 37-33 with 3:22 left in the half.

    • The Mocs are shooting 51 percent from the field, and 46 percent on three-pointers. Lackadaiscial effort so far on defense.
    • Kanaan Carlyle leads Indiana scoring with six points. Every player who has appeared for Indiana has scored.

The Mocs hold a 28-25 lead with 7:22 left in the first half.

    • Hoosiers are 2-9 from beyond the arc so far this afternoon, with multiple wide-open looks.

UTC with a 21-16 lead over the Hoosiers with 11:45 in the half.

    • The crowd has not been given a reason to get excited yet for this game. Chattanooga is knocking down shots and moving the ball very well on offense. Different story for Indiana, who are 1-for-6 from three-point range, and 7-for-14 overall.
    • Trey Bonham has nine early points for the Mocs, but only averages 13 a game. He’s been getting way too open on the perimeter,

Chattanooga leads 13-12 with 15:01 in the first half.

    • Trey Galloway picks up two quick fouls and will head to the bench. Carlyle in for him.
    • Mocs shooting 56% from the field on 5-of-9 shooting. A few easy buckets for them to start out.
    • Going to be a heavy hometown crowd the next few games as winter break is on for IU students. Main level still pretty empty 20 minutes until tip.
    • Usual starters for IU: Rice, Galloway, Mgbako, Reneau, Ballo
