Wright State transfer guard Michael Cooper is a Southern Indiana product. He attended Jeffersonville H.S. (Jeffersonville, Ind.) and won a state title in 2025 playing for former IU player Sherron Wilkerson.
In 31 games with 15 starts, the 6-foot-3 guard produced a team-high 13.4 points per game and added 2.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists as a freshman and helped the Raiders to an NCAA Tournament appearance. Cooper shot 35.6% from three, 51% from two, and 82.1% at the free throw stripe.
As a senior at Jeffersonville, Cooper played in 29 games and averaged 18.7 points with a 2.4 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game average while shooting 54 percent overall and 41 percent from three-point range.
