Baylor is one of seven high-major teams in the country to be returning zero players for to its 2025-26 roster. BU has completely flipped its roster, bringing in 10 transfers from the portal. This is the first time in program history Baylor has had zero returning players, losing four out of eligibility, nine to the transfer portal and one to the NBA.
The new Baylor transfers include fifth-year senior guard Obi Agbim (Wyoming), junior center Juslin Bodo Bodo (High Point), sophomore guard Cameron Carr (Tennessee), senior center Caden Powell (Rice), senior guard Michael Rataj (Oregon State), senior guard Daniel Skillings (Cincinnati), fifth-year senior guard JJ White (Omaha), and sophomore guard Isaac Williams IV (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi). The portal class ranks 22nd according to 247Sports.
Baylor landed a highly-touted freshman class including consensus five-star forward Tounde Yessoufou and Andre Iguodala II, son of four-time NBA Champion and 2015 NBA Finals MVP Andre Iguodala.
Carr, Skillings Jr., and Yessoufou each charted double-figure scoring games to highlight Baylor in its first exhibition of the 2025-26 season, taking down Grand Canyon, 79-72 at Foster Pavilion. As a team, the Bears shot 44 percent in the win, including a 12-of-24 mark from 3-point range and a 13-of-14 showing from the free-throw line. BU held a 32-30 margin in rebounds, had assists on 15 of 27 shots and held GCU to a 46% shooting clip from the field, including a 4-of-18 mark behind the arc.
Indiana and Baylor will meet up for the second time in program history on the hardwood. The only previous matchup came in a non-conference clash on Dec. 13, 1980. IU won the contest by a score of 80-47 in Bloomington behind 23 points and seven rebounds from All-American Landon Turner.
Indiana is coming off a 107-46 exhibition against Marian. Redshirt senior forward Tucker DeVries and freshman forward Trent Sisley combined for 46 points on 15-of-19 shooting from the floor, 13 rebounds, and nine assists. Senior forward Sam Alexis produced a 13-point, 10-rebound double-double in 18 minutes.
