There were no real surprises as class of 2025 center Eric Reibe narrowed his list of schools to five.

The 7-footer told multiple outlets on Tuesday he’ll focus on Indiana, Kansas, Connecticut, Creighton and Oregon to wrap-up his recruitment.

Reibe just completed his final official visit to Oregon over the weekend.

A product of Germany who attends Bullis School in Potomac, Md., Reibe is expected to announce a college decision this month.

According to multiple reports, IU coach Mike Woodson is visiting Reibe on Wednesday.

Reibe visited Indiana a couple weeks ago along with fellow IU target Braylon Mullins, and new IU commit Trent Sisley.

“I spent a lot of time with them,” Reibe told TDH after the visit.  “I like both of them. I think we would complement each other a lot. We all play different positions. So that’s pretty optimal.”

Reibe also spoke to TDH about what he’s looking for in a college.

“I want to be able to play right away and get good minutes and potentially a starting spot,” he said.  “Player development. How they use bigs — playing style is very important. And my connection to the head coach too, those are the main things.

“They (Indiana) say that three bigs are leaving (Ballo, Langdon Hatton, Dallas James). If I come in, they see me starting or playing a lot of minutes as a freshman.”

Reibe is a consensus 4-star according to the On3 Industry Average.  He is ranked the No. 27 overall player in the 2025 class, and the No. 1 center.
