IU basketball has a chance to add to its 2026 class this week.
4-star forward Trevor Manhertz will announce his college decision tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1 p.m. ET.
Manhertz is currently in the class of 2027 but he’s expected to reclassify back to his original 2026 class.
There are national analysts predicting Manhertz will end up at Indiana.
The 6-foot-8 Manhertz is the the No. 52 overall player in the 2027 class according to the 247Sports Composite. He recently reclassed up to 2027.
The Christ School H.S. (Cary, North Carolina) product recently narrowed the focus of his recruitment to Indiana, Louisville and Duke. He took visits to all three schools over the last couple months.
If he picks IU and goes back to the senior class, Manhertz would be the third class of 2026 recruit for Indiana and head coach Darian DeVries. He would join guard Prince-Alexander Moody, and wing Vaughn Karvala.
