Indiana welcomes class of 2026 4-star guard Junior County to Bloomington this weekend for an official visit.

Other visits — County previously visited Purdue, and he has visits set this month to his remaining finalists: Arizona (9/12), Maryland (9/19) and UConn (9/26).
Favorites — This recruitment appears to be wide open when it comes to County’s five finalists. He quickly narrowed to a manageable field after travel basketball, and he is visiting each school.
Timeline — County has said he is likely to make a decision in October upon the conclusion of his scheduled visits.
Indiana Connections — This is a relatively new relationship for Indiana. Led by assistant coach Rod Clark, the new staff has made up tremendous ground in short order to become one of County’s finalists and secure this official visit.
Pedigree — His father, Adolph County, played defensive back at Utah, while his brother, Terrell Young, played basketball at Utah State. His older sister played college tennis.
Numbers — Playing for the Utah Prospects on the Nike EYBL Circuit, this spring and summer he averaged 12.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists while shooting 47.7% from two and 30% from three.
At the NBPA Top-100 Camp in June he averaged 10.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists and shot 64.3% from the field across five games, which ranked No. 9 overall at the camp.
