Indiana basketball guard Lamar Wilkerson earned second-team All-Big Ten honors Tuesday from the coaches.  He was voted third-team All-Big Ten by the media.

In Big Ten games, Wilkerson led the conference in scoring with 23.2 points per contest.  He also set a new Indiana record for points scored in a season in league games with 464.

In all games, Wilkerson is averaging 21.0 points while shooting 46.4% from the field overall including 38.3% from three.  He has added 3.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 steals per game.

Wilkerson is the first Hoosier since Kel’el Ware (Third Team in 2024) to be voted All-Big Ten. Trayce Jackson-Davis (2022) was the last IU player to be named to the conference’s second team.

Wilkerson is on track to be the first player since Brian Evans (1995-96) to average 21.0-plus points in a season for Indiana. The Ashdown, Ark., native is one of four players nationally to average north of 20.0 points and at least 3.0 made 3-pointers per game this season.

Wilkerson made 103 shots behind the arc during the regular season, the second most in program history. He trails only Steve Alford’s total of 107 during the 1986-87 campaign. His free throw percentage of 89.3% is on pace to finish third in program history for players with more than 100 made free throws in a single season.

The awards are voted on by conference coaches and a select media panel. The complete list of All-Conference honorees and individual award winners is below.
