    IU basketball: Big Ten announces home/away and single-play opponents for 2022-23 season

    The Big Ten Conference has announced Indiana’s league opponents for the 2022-23 season.

    Consistent with recent years, teams will play a total of 20 Big Ten games.  Schools will play seven programs in a home-and-away series, and they will meet six of the conference’s other teams just one time.

    Here are Indiana’s home only, away only, and their home and away conference opponents for 2022-23:

    HOME ONLY:  Nebraska, Ohio State, Wisconsin

    AWAY ONLY:  Maryland, Minnesota, Penn State

    HOME AND AWAY:  Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Purdue, Rutgers

    League play will begin in December with two games, followed by 18 more matchups from late December to early March. A full schedule with dates, times and television designations will be announced in the coming months.

    ROSEMONT, Ill. — The Big Ten Conference revealed a breakdown of conference opponents for all 14 schools for the 2022-23 men’s basketball season. Each member institution will play a 20-game conference schedule, playing seven schools both home and away and facing the six remaining schools once. Of the single-play opponents, member institutions will play three at home and three on the road.

    The 2022-23 Big Ten Conference Men’s Basketball season will conclude with the 26th annual Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament, which is scheduled for March 8-12 and returns to the United Center in Chicago for the first time since 2019.

    The complete list of Big Ten Conference single-play and repeat opponents is below, while dates, times, and television information will be announced at a later date.

    Home: Michigan, Michigan State, Rutgers
    Away: Iowa, Maryland, Purdue
    Home/Away: Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin

    INDIANA
    Home: Nebraska, Ohio State, Wisconsin
