Indiana Football: Early Signing Period Live Tracker

The college football early signing period begins today as Indiana attempts to sign its top recruiting class ever in the history of the recruiting rankings era.  We will keep you updated throughout the day, including an appearance by Tom Allen on BTN and a press conference this afternoon.

8:45 — Defensive Tackle Juan Harris, who was previously with Indiana before transferring to junior college, signed with the Hoosiers.

8:58 — 14 of IU’s 17 verbal commits have signed.  Only Dorian Jones, Matthew Bedford and Jordan Jakes are unsigned at this point.

9:42:  — Cam Williams (4-star linebacker) plans to announce at 11:45 CENTRAL at Andrean High School.

10:26 — Matthew Bedford chooses Indiana over South Carolina and Mississippi State.

10:30 — Previously uncommitted Antoine Whitner signs with Indiana.  That makes 17 total signed recruits, including 15 that were verbally committed and two new additions.

11:30 — Jordan Jakes signs. 16 of the original 17 signed plus two new additions.

12:15 — Dorian Jones flips from Indiana to Louisville.  In total IU retains 16 of 17 verbal commits.

1:05 — Major news as IU lands the commitment of and signs 4-star in-state linebacker Cam Williams.
