Indiana Basketball: 2019 NBA Summer League Schedule

NBA Summer League play begins on Monday and at least one former IU player will be in action.

Juwan Morgan is set to play for the Utah Jazz on a summer league contract.  Since he is with Utah, Morgan will get the benefit of a few extra games, playing in both the Salt Lake and Las Vegas sessions.

Morgan will need to show the ability to knock down outside shots and defend the perimeter in order to improve his chances of landing on an NBA roster.

Boston Celtics first round draft pick Romeo Langford is uncertain for summer league action.  The New Albany, Ind. native is not medically cleared to play yet and he may miss some or all of the Las Vegas event as he continues to recover from surgery on his dislocated thumb.

(Update:  Langford is on the Celtics summer league roster)

Other former IU players could be late additions to a roster such as Robert Johnson, Troy Williams, and Christian Watford.  They all played in the 2018 summer league.  We will continue to monitor for additional former Hoosiers and will update you accordingly.

The full schedule is below, with Utah and Boston’s games in bold italics.
