12 players who finished their college careers at Indiana have seen an NFL field in 2025.
Here’s a quick overview of how they performed so far this season.
Dan Feeney – Tampa Bay Buccaneers, OL
Feeney has played in seven games with five starts this season. He has played 327 offensive snaps. The 31-year-old has started each of the last five games.
Feeney has now played in 127 games over nine NFL seasons. Tampa Bay is his fifth NFL team on the active roster. He is the longest-tenured Hoosier in the league.
Luke Haggard – Tampa Bay Buccaneers, OL
Haggard has played in six games with four starts this year. He has played a total of 249 offensive snaps but has not seen a major role since returning from a midseason injury.
Haggard made his NFL debut with Tampa this year after spending two years on the practice squad.
Zach Horton – Detroit Lions, TE
Horton was elevated from the practice squad and made his NFL debut on Thanksgiving for the Lions.
He played eight offensive snaps and six special teams snaps in the game. He did not register any stats. Horton is the third undrafted free agent from the 2024 IU football team to play in the NFL this season.
Cam Jones – New York Jets, LB
Jones sustained a hip injury in week six and has not returned.
On the season, Jones has four tackles in five games. For his three-year career he has 40 tackles in 39 games with two starts.
Raheem Layne – New York Giants, S
Layne made his season debut for the Giants in week eight after starting the year on the practice squad. That has been his only appearance this season.
Layne has now played in 14 games over four seasons and has 11 career tackles.
Marcelino McCrary-Ball – New York Jets, LB
After missing several games with a hamstring injury, McCrary-Ball has been back in action for the Jets both as a linebacker and on special teams.
On the season, McCrary-Ball has 23 tackles, a tackle for loss, and a forced fumble in five games. For his career he has played in 19 games over three years and amassed 30 tackles.
Micah McFadden – New York Giants, LB
McFadden is on injured reserve with a long-term foot injury.
Before the injury during week one, McFadden had three tackles and a quarterback hit. This is his fourth season in the NFL. He has 270 tackles, 26 tackles for loss and six sacks for his career.
Myles Price – Minnesota Vikings, PR, KR, WR
After going undrafted this spring, Price is the starting punt returner and kickoff returner for the Vikings. He has also played 11 offensive snaps.
On the season Price is averaging 10.3 yards per punt return, and 26.1 per kickoff return. He has the most combined kickoff and punt return attempts in the NFL.
Ian Thomas – Las Vegas Raiders, TE
Now in his eighth year, Thomas is currently the second longest-tenured former Hoosier in the NFL. After playing with the Carolina Panthers his first seven years, Thomas is now with the Raiders.
Thomas has appeared in all 12 games for the Raiders this year. He has 11 catches for 97 yards and no scores. He has played 248 offensive snaps, and 81 special teams snaps this year.
Thomas has 130 catches for 1,159 yards and four touchdowns for his NFL career in 111 games.
CJ West – San Francisco 49ers, DT
West has appeared in 10 games this year as a rookie for the 49ers. He has played 194 defensive snaps and 14 on special teams.
He has 14 tackles, a tackle for loss, and four quarterback pressures in this his rookie season with the 49ers.
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine – Miami Dolphins, WR
Now in his sixth year in the NFL after going undrafted, Westbrook-Ikhine is playing his first season with Miami.
He has played 339 snaps on offense and 110 on special teams this year. He has four tackles on special teams.
Westbrook-Ikhine has 11 catches for 89 yards on the season, and 137 catches for 1,862 yards and 19 touchdowns for his six-year career.
Ke’Shawn Williams – Pittsburgh Steelers, WR
After going undrafted and starting the year on the practice squad, Williams has played in eight NFL games, serving as the team’s punt and kick returner.
On the season Williams is averaging 10.2 yards per punt return, and 23.6 yards per kickoff return. He has also played on nine offensive snaps but has not been targeted.

Former Hoosier Michael Penix, Jr. was the starting quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons before a season-ending injury, and tight end AJ Barner is playing a significant role for the Seattle Seahawks. They finished their college careers with Washington and Michigan, respectively. Former IU cornerbacks Kobee Minor and Reese Taylor have also seen the field this year for New England and Denver, respectively after finishing their college careers at Memphis and Purdue.
