The 2025 NFL season is underway, and seven former Hoosiers saw the field in week six.

Here’s a quick overview of how they performed.

Dan Feeney – Tampa Bay Buccaneers, OL

Feeney saw his first action of the 2025 season and first with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week six.  He played two special teams snaps.  Feeney has now played in 121 games over nine NFL seasons.  Tampa Bay is his fifth NFL team on the active roster.  He is the longest-tenured Hoosier in the league.

Luke Haggard – Tampa Bay Buccaneers, OL

After spending the last two years on Tampa Bay’s practice squad, Haggard made his NFL debut this season.  He made his fourth straight start this past Sunday.

Haggard played 41 snaps on offense and three on special teams in a win over San Francisco.  At PFF he received an average pass blocking grade and poor run blocking grades.  He allowed one pressure.  Tampa’s offense produced 30 points in a win.

Cam Jones – New York Jets, LB

Jones played four special teams snaps and did not produce any stats.  He sustained a hip injury during the game.

On the season, Jones has four tackles in five games.  For his three-year career he has 40 tackles in 39 games with two starts.

Marcelino McCrary-Ball – New York Jets, LB

McCrary-Ball suffered a hamstring injury in week three and was placed on injured reserve.  He will miss at least one more game.

On the season, McCrary-Ball has 17 tackles and a forced fumble in three games.

Micah McFadden – New York Giants, LB

McFadden did not play in week six.  He is on injured reserve with a long-term foot injury.

Before the injury during week one, McFadden had three tackles and a quarterback hit.  This is his fourth season in the NFL.  He has 270 tackles, 26 tackles for loss and six sacks for his career.

Myles Price – Minnesota Vikings, PR, KR, WR

After going undrafted this spring, Price is the starting punt returner and kickoff returner for the Vikings.

The Vikings were on a bye in week six.

On the season Price is averaging 10.0 yards per punt return, and 23.9 per kickoff return.

Ian Thomas – Las Vegas Raiders, TE

Now in his eighth year, Thomas is currently the second longest-tenured former Hoosier in the NFL.  After playing with the Carolina Panthers his first seven years, Thomas is now with the Raiders.

In a win over Tennessee, he played 18 offensive snaps and three special teams snaps.  He was targeted once in the passing game and had one catch for four yards.  At PFF he received a mediocre run blocking grade and poor pass blocking grade.

Thomas has 123 catches for 1,086 yards for his NFL career.

CJ West – San Francisco 49ers, DT

In a loss to Tampa, West played 17 snaps on defense and had two tackles.  He recorded a pressure on the quarterback.

At PFF West had average overall grades including a good tackling grade.

He has four tackles in five games on his rookie season.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine – Miami Dolphins, WR

Now in his sixth year in the NFL after going undrafted, Westbrook-Ikhine is playing his first season with Miami.

In a loss to the Chargers, he played 37 offensive snaps, was targeted once and produced no stats.  He played nearly half of the offensive snaps as he sees a larger role with Tyreek Hill being injured.  He did not play on special teams.

Westbrook-Ikhine has 130 catches for 1,799 yards and 19 touchdowns for his six-year career.

Ke’Shawn Williams – Pittsburgh Steelers, WR

After going undrafted and starting the year on the practice squad, Williams made his NFL debut this past week with the Steelers, serving as the team’s punt and kick returner in a win over Cleveland.

Williams returned three punts for 30 yards, and two kickoffs for 50 yards.

    MORE NOTES:

Quarterback Kurtis Rourke is with the San Francisco 49ers on the injured list recovering from offseason knee surgery.

Former Hoosier Michael Penix, Jr. is the starting quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons, and tight end AJ Barner is playing a significant role for the Seattle Seahawks.  They finished their college careers with Washington and Michigan, respectively.  Former IU cornerback Kobee Minor has also seen the field this year for New England.  He finished his career at Memphis.
