Hoosiers in the NFL — Training Camp Rosters

Training camps have started around the NFL, and multiple former Indiana University football stars are looking to continue or start careers in the league.  The former Hoosiers cover the spectrum, from high caliber NFL stars, to new draft picks, to guys just trying to land on an opening day roster.

Here are the former Hoosiers that are on team training camp rosters, with jersey numbers so you can look for them as preseason play begins this week.

Tevin Coleman (#26) — Atlanta.  Coleman begins his fourth season as a running back with the Falcons.

Ian Thomas (#80) — Carolina.  Thomas is a rookie tight end for the Panthers.  He was drafted in the 4th round.

Rashard Fant (#29) — Chicago.  Fant is an undrafted rookie cornerback on the Bears training camp roster.

Jordan Howard (#24) — Chicago.  Howard is set to start his third NFL season as the starting running back for the Bears.

Chris Covington (#59) — Dallas.  Covington is a rookie linebacker for the Cowboys.  He was drafted in the 6th round.

Michael Hunter (#39) — Denver.  Hunter is on the Broncos training camp roster as a second year cornerback.

Jason Spriggs (#78) — Green Bay.  Spriggs will start his 3rd season in the NFL as the tackle comes back from an injury.

Shane Wynn (#14) — Jacksonville.  Wynn is a third year wide receiver on the Jaguars training camp roster.

Robert McCray (#65) — Kansas City.  McCray is an undrafted rookie linebacker on the Chiefs training camp roster.

Dan Feeney (#66) — Los Angeles Chargers.  Feeney is a second year guard with the Chargers.

Roger Saffold (#76) — Los Angeles Rams.  Saffold begins his ninth year in the league as a guard for the Rams.

Tegray Scales (#46) — Los Angeles Rams.  Scales is an undrafted linebacker on the training camp roster for the Rams.

Cody Latimer (#12) — New York Giants.  Latimer begins his fifth season in the league at a new home with the Giants.

Nate Sudfeld (#7) — Philadelphia.  Sudfeld begins his third year in the league as a backup quarterback for the Eagles.

Simmie Cobbs (#15) — Washington.  Cobbs is an undrafted rookie on the training camp roster of the Redskins.

Note:  Darius Latham was waived by the Oakland Raiders in April and is currently a free agent.
