    Here’s where IU basketball 2026 recruiting targets landed in post-spring rankings updates

    The two main national recruiting sites have updated their class of 2026 rankings following spring travel basketball.

    Below is a recap of where IU basketball’s targets in the rising senior class are ranked following spring action.

    MAIN TARGETS

    These are targets that based on various national reports appear to have mutual interest with Indiana.

    Some of the biggest movers in the update are noted.

    JORDAN SMITH:  6-foot-2 guard

    • On3:  4-star/No. 6
    • 247:  5-star/No. 2

    ANTHONY THOMPSON:  6-foot-8 wing

    • On3:  4-star/No. 5
    • 247:  5-star/No. 9

    TAY KINNEY:  6-foot-2 guard

    • On3:  4-star/No. 23
    • 247:  5-star/No. 11

    ARAFAN DIANE:  6-foot-11 center

    • On3:  4-star/No. 22
    • 247:  4-star/No. 15 — Arafan moved up 80 spots.

    ETHAN TAYLOR:  7-foot center

    • On3:  4-star/No. 21
    • 247:  4-star/No. 22 — Taylor moved up 51 spots.

    DAVION ADKINS:  6-foot-8 forward

    • On3:  4-star/No. 44
    • 247:  4-star/No. 32

    LATRELL ALLMOND:  6-foot-8 forward

    • On3:  4-star/No. 25
    • 247:  4-star/No. 42

    TREY THOMPSON:  6-foot-7 wing

    • On3:  4-star/No. 54 — Thompson moved up 60 spots.
    • 247:  4-star/No. 60 — Thompson was previously unranked.

    SAMMY JACKSON:  6-foot-7 wing

    • On3:  4-star/No. 74 — Jackson moved up 44 spots.
    • 247:  4-star/No. 68 — Jackson moved up 28 spots.

    PRINCE-ALEXANDER MOODY:  6-foot-4 guard

    • On3:  3-star/NR
    • 247:  3-star/No. 122

    LUIGI SUIGO:  7-foot-3 center

    • On3:  4-star
    • 247:  NR

    BEST OF THE REST

    These are players in the class the new Indiana staff has offered but to this point have seemingly not gained serious traction.  Obviously things can develop and change in a hurry.

    CALEB GASKINS:  6-foot-8 wing

    • On3:  4-star/No. 11
    • 247:  4-star/No. 16

    TONI BRYANT:  6-foot-10 forward

    • On3:  4-star/No. 24
    • 247:  5-star/No. 12

    DERON RIPPEY:  6-foot-2 guard

    • On3: 4-star/No. 17

    CAMERON WILLIAMS:  6-foot-9 center

    • On3:  4-star/No. 16

    COLE CLOER:  6-foot-7 wing
