    Here’s how IU basketball’s 2026 recruiting class looks in national team, player rankings

    Indiana basketball coach Darian DeVries and his staff have quietly put together a strong first-year recruiting class in Bloomington.

    As of early March, Indiana has a consensus national top-20 class made up of three consensus 4-stars.

    Indiana emphasized perimeter shooting in this class.  All three of the commits are wing players with a reputation for shooting the basketball.

    Here’s a closer look at how Indiana’s class stacks up in the national rankings at the three main national outlets:

    INDIANA’S 2026 CLASS IN THE TEAM RANKINGS

    • ESPN:  No. 18 overall, No. 6 Big Ten
    • 247Sports:  No. 19 overall, No. 5 Big Ten
    • Rivals:  No. 18 overall, No. 7 Big Ten

    Big Ten teams with top-5 Big Ten classes according to at least one of the outlets:  Michigan, Michigan State, USC, Maryland, Purdue, Indiana.
