IU basketball announced its full nonconference schedule for the 2026-27 season.
Here are the 12 games the Hoosiers will play outside of Big Ten action:
- Nov. 2, 2026: vs. Eastern Illinois, at Bloomington
- Nov. 5, 2026: vs. Bellarmine, at Bloomington
- Nov. 9, 2026: vs. Syracuse, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indianapolis
- Nov. 12, 2026: vs. Tennessee Tech, at Bloomington
- Nov. 17, 2026: vs. Arkansas, at Madison Square Garden, New York
- Nov. 20, 2026: vs. Kentucky, at Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis
- Nov. 24, 2026: vs. Jacksonville, at Bloomington
- Nov. 27, 2026: vs. Bowling Green, at Bloomington
- Dec. 6, 2026: vs. Western Illinois, at Bloomington
- Dec. 12, 2026: vs. UCF, at Bloomington
- Dec. 18, 2026: vs. Missouri, at Bloomington (being finalized)
- Dec. 22, 2026: vs. Fairleigh Dickinson, at Bloomington
In total IU will play five nonconference games against high major opponents, three games on neutral floors, and nine at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
The Hoosiers will also play 20 Big Ten games for a total of 32 overall, including 25 against high majors.
The full 2026-27 schedule with television designations and tip-times should be released next month.
“We are excited about how the non-conference schedule came together,” said head coach Darian DeVries in a release. “We will get the opportunity to test ourselves in several high-profile, power-conference games this season. We cannot wait to get this season rolling and be back in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall with Hoosier Nation.”
Indiana has also announced exhibition games at Butler (Sunday, Oct. 11), against North Carolina (Sunday, Oct. 18) at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and versus Western Kentucky (Sunday, Oct. 25) in Evansville ahead of the regular season.
