Hardy is competing for the starting linebacker position alongside Aiden Fisher, while Hemby and Black are working to solidify their roles in the running backs rotation. Hardy and Black are returning from last year’s team, while Hemby transferred in from Maryland. CAROLINA, Puerto Rico — Below are the final stats from Indiana’s 98-47 win over Universidad De Bayamon on Wednesday evening. The Hoosiers were led in the game by freshman Trent Sisley with 21 points.  Sophomore Josh Harris added 12.  A total of five Hoosiers scored in double figures, and seven scored nine or more points. Sam Alexis led IU with 12 rebounds, while Harris posted a double-double with 10 boards. Tucker DeVries led the team in assists with seven, and Tayton Conerway posted four steals. As a team Indiana shot 68.7% from two and had 32 assists and 14 steals.…

Watch below as the IU basketball team toured Puerto Rico ahead of their games on the island.  The team flew to San Juan on Monday and will be there for a full week. The preseason recognition continues to roll in for multiple members of the IU football team. Running back Roman Hemby was added to the preseason watch list for the Doak Walker Award, which goes annually to the nation’s most outstanding college running back. Hemby transferred to IU after four seasons with Maryland.  He figures to have a prominent role in the Indiana running back rotation. Over his college career, Hemby has appeared in 41 career games with 38 starts over four seasons at Maryland.  He has been named honorable mention All-Big Ten (2022 & 2023) and owns 3,352 career all-purpose yards…
