Greensburg, Ind. product Sam West showed promise during his time at IU.  But he’ll play out the latter part of his college career elsewhere. The IU women’s basketball roster rebuild continued Tuesday with the addition of Virginia transfer Edessa Noyan. The 6-foot-3 Noyan announced her commitment to Teri Moren’s squad following a visit to Bloomington.  She also visited Purdue and West Virginia. From Botkyrka, Sweden, Noyan played in 54 games with 26 starts over two seasons with Virginia.  She averaged 5.7 points in 2024-25 while shooting 40.7% from the field overall, and 32.8% from three.  Her season was disrupted when she missed six games after being hospitalized with pneumonia. One of the best shooters in the 2025 transfer portal cycle is coming to Indiana. Sam Houston transfer guard Lamar Wilkerson has committed to the Hoosiers after visiting Bloomington this weekend. “Indiana felt like home,” Wilkerson said in an interview on the Field of 68 immediately after his announcement.  “I’m ready to bring Hoosier basketball back.” The 6-foot-5 Wilkerson picked IU over Kentucky, Auburn and Ole Miss.  He also visited Kentucky after IU, giving new Hoosiers head coach Darian DeVries a massive portal win over Mark Pope and the Wildcats.  Indiana and Wilkerson will face Kentucky in Lexington in December.…

Indiana is getting a visit on Tuesday from North Florida 6-foot-6 sophomore wing Jasai Miles according to Joe Tipton of On3. Miles captured Third Team All-ASUN honors for the initial All-Conference nod of his career in 2024-25. HE started all 32 games and averaged 15.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists on 42.5 percent from the field and 33.5 percent from three in 31.4 minutes in 2024-25. According to multiple Monday evening reports, the Sam Houston transfer sharpshooter is down to the Hoosiers and Wildcats after cancelling visits to Auburn and Ole Miss. Could new IU basketball coach Darian DeVries utilize the transfer portal to reunite with another one of his former Drake players? Texas Tech sophomore guard Kevin Overton is entering the transfer portal according to multiple Sunday evening reports.  He played for DeVries at Drake as a freshman where he was a teammate of new IU guard Conor Enright and forward Tucker DeVries.
