The No. 13 IU women appeared to be on their way to an early statement win at Kentucky. Junior guard Grace Berger’s jumper at the third quarter buzzer gave the Hoosiers a 10-point edge going into the final 10 minutes in Lexington. IU has risen to its highest spot in the Associated Press (AP) poll since 1967 after a 14-6 win over Wisconsin. The Hoosiers are ranked No. 8 in the new AP poll released on Sunday, and No. 9 in the coaches poll. IU has been ranked in the AP poll for seven-straight weeks, matching the program regular-season record. Joining IU in the national polls from the Big Ten are Ohio State (No. 3 AP / No. 4 coaches), Northwestern (15/14), Iowa (19/18) and Wisconsin (25/25). The Indiana football locker room is must-see after a big win, and Saturday evening in Madison was no exception. The emotions ran wild before the Hoosiers even reached the locker room as the IU players showered head coach Tom Allen with praise during his post-game interview on national television. Indiana continued its incredible 2020 season with a 14-6 win over Wisconsin in Madison on Saturday afternoon. The Hoosiers moved to 6-1 on a season that now includes wins over Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State and now the No. 18/19 Badgers.
