Former IU star D.J. White joined A.J. Guyton on the House of Hoosier Podcast this week. Tuscaloosa, Alabama native White started in all 29 games he played in during his freshman season, averaging 13.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game during the 2004-05 season. His productivity earned him Big Ten freshman of the year honors. After an injury plagued sophomore season there was concern that White would transfer. Indiana lost to Illinois on Tuesday night by a final score of 75-71 in overtime at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Ind. The Hoosiers were led by Trayce Jackson-Davis with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Race Thompson added 18 points and eight rebounds. IU led 41-34 at halftime but struggled offensively after the break. Indiana picked up its third class of 2021 wide receiver commitment on Tuesday when Alabama-based senior Malachi Bennett announced his intent to play for the Hoosiers.
