They won’t have to deal with that bitter taste in their mouths very long. Just weeks removed from their runner-up showing in the NCAA Tournament, the IU men’s soccer program can already look ahead to another season.  Indiana men’s soccer head coach Todd Yeagley announced the schedule for the 2021 season on Tuesday afternoon. The schedule will feature 11 home games and a non-conference slate for the first time since the 2019 campaign. Justin Taylor isn’t wasting any time. Just days removed from wrapping up his planned campus visits, the class of 2022 top-100 wing has announced his final five schools and a commitment date. According to a Twitter post by Joe Tipton, Taylor is down to a final five of Virginia, North Carolina, Indiana, Virginia Tech and Syracuse. The 6-foot-6 Taylor will announce his decision this Saturday, June 26.  Hailing from Charlottesville, Virginia, Taylor is a 4-star recruit, currently ranked No. 84 overall nationally in the 2022 class. Indiana locked up its quarterback for the class of 2022. Rockwall, Texas based incoming senior signal caller Josh Hoover announced his commitment to Indiana on Tuesday. The 6-foot-1 and 206 pound Hoover passed for 3,556 yards, 36 touchdowns and 12 interceptions with a 63% completion rate for his 2020 junior season with Rockwall-Heath. Indiana isn’t finished identifying prospects in the class of 2022. On Tuesday morning the Hoosiers offered incoming senior big man Ernest Udeh, Jr. of Orlando, Fla. Udeh announced the IU offer on his Twitter page. https://twitter.com/ernestudehjr/status/1407328863517040643?s=20 The 6-foot-10 Udeh is currently ranked No. 113 overall in the class of 2022 according to the 247Sports Composite. Watch below as IU football freshman wide receiver Jordyn Williams meets with the media for the first time. An ESPN four-star prospect, Williams played his first three years at Westover High School in Albany, Ga., before moving to Trinity Christian in Cedar Hill, Texas, to play for Deion Sanders, who served as offensive coordinator.  He caught 50 passes for 1,466 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior. Mike Roberts grew up in Terre Haute, Ind. before moving out to Oregon for high school when his father took a job on the West Coast. But eventually, after a brief stop in New Hampshire, Roberts found his way back in Indiana when he started his college basketball career at IU. Indiana went the local route for its latest class of 2023 scholarship offer. After watching him play on Saturday, IU offered a scholarship to Indianapolis based guard Myles Colvin. IU women’s basketball senior guard Grace Berger helped Team USA to an overall 6-0 record and a gold medal as it defeated host Puerto Rico in the 2021 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup on Saturday night, 74-59, at Coliseo Roberto Clemente. Through the duration of the tournament, the Louisville, Ky. native averaged 6.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game. She posted her best game in the quarterfinals against the U.S. Virgin Islands with 13 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.  Berger shot 44 percent from the floor and went 81.8 percent at the free throw line.…

On the first day Mike Woodson was allowed to watch recruiting targets in person, his first stop on Friday was in South Carolina to observe class of 2022 forward Noah Clowney. The 6-foot-10 Clowney is one of the fastest rising prospects in the incoming senior class.  He went from unranked to the No. 55 player in the country according to Rivals.  The 247Sports Composite lists Clowney as the No. 78 overall prospect in the class.
