It has been nearly a year since Indiana last played a baseball game — but the wait is almost over. The Big Ten Conference has announced the long-awaited 2021 baseball schedule.  The conference-only slate for the 2021 season was released by IU and the league on Wednesday afternoon. Indiana will play 44 Big Ten games, including 20 home contests at Bart Kaufman Field in Bloomington, Ind. Indiana begins an important two game home stand on Wednesday evening when the Minnesota Golden Gophers arrive at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. With a month of the season remaining before Selection Monday, the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Committee has tabbed Indiana as a No. 4 seed in the first top-16 early reveal.  UConn, South Carolina, Stanford and Louisville are the current projected No. 1 seeds. Below are the junior season highlights for in-state (Brebeuf H.S. / Indianapolis) 4-star defensive lineman Joe Strickland. The top-rated strong-side defensive end in the state finished his junior season with 50 tackles, 13 quarterback hurries, 6.5 sacks and 11 tackles-for-loss.
