In almost every imaginable way, Indiana’s season has been an unmitigated disaster. Indiana passed its final tune-up against a mid-major with flying colors on Friday night. With their full complement of 13 scholarship players available, the Hoosiers built a double-digit lead at the 10:23 mark of the first half and never relinquished it. The margin swelled to as much as 41 points as the second unit and beyond kept their foot on the gas to deliver a comfortable win. Indiana defeated Northern Illinois by a final score of 85-49 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Ind. on Friday evening.
