Los Angeles head coach Sean McVay’s father Tim was a two-time IU football captain (1976, 1977) playing under head coach Lee Corso. Indiana lost to Michigan State by a final score of 76-61 on Saturday afternoon at The Breslin Center in East Lansing, Mich. The Hoosiers trailed 37-30 at halftime and were led in the game by Trayce Jackson-Davis with 17 points. Race Thompson added 13 points and a career-high 14 rebounds. The Big Ten Conference has announced Indiana’s men’s basketball game against Ohio State, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 19 at noon in Columbus, will now be played on Monday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. and will air on FS1. The move was necessary so Ohio State and Iowa could make up their Feb. 3 weather-related postponed game. That game will now be played on Saturday, Feb. 19 in Columbus. Mike Woodson didn’t hire Dane Fife for his intel on the Michigan State basketball program. But he isn’t going to run from his assistant coach’s ten years spent working at MSU under Tom Izzo either.
