Indiana appears to be losing a position coach and possibly also two of the highest rated recruits in program history in one move. Bruce Feldman of The Athletic is reporting running back coach Deland McCullough is expected to leave IU to take the same position at Notre Dame under new head coach Marcus Freeman.  ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg confirmed the report.  McCullough came back to IU just a year ago from the Kansas City Chiefs. Iconic IU basketball public address announcer Chuck Crabb announced his retirement on Monday after a nearly five decade career with IU Athletics including 45 years as the men’s basketball P.A. voice at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. No. 6/6 Indiana returns to action for the first time in 15 days as it battles No. 7/7 Michigan on Monday night. The tip is set for 7 p.m. Eastern and the contest will air on ESPN2. Indiana linebacker Cam Jones appears to be coming back for a fifth season in Bloomington. The Memphis, Tenn. product made an announcement on his Twitter page on Sunday. “I’m excited for what the future holds not only for myself, but for Indiana Football,” Jones wrote in the post.  “Thank you to everyone who has made contributions to my life. Indiana picked up its second straight road win of the season, its fourth win in five Big Ten games, and they are now three wins above .500 in the conference with a convincing victory at Maryland on Saturday afternoon. After being down 8-0 to start the game, Indiana went on a 13-0 run from the 17:51 to the 12:45 mark of the first half.  The Hoosiers would relinquish their edge but a 10-0 run to close the first half gave IU a 33-26 halftime lead.  Maryland would never get closer than seven in the second half, and Indiana never led…

Indiana defeated Maryland by a final score of 68-55 at the XFINITY Center in College Park, Md. on Saturday afternoon. IU put together one of its most complete efforts of the season and earned their second true road win.  They led 33-26 at halftime and were led in the game by Race Thompson with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
