Micah McFadden capped off an impressive month by earning a spot on the New York Giants 53-man roster. The inside linebacker put together a strong preseason. According to PFF he earned an 81.9 overall grade across the three games, 10th best among NFL rookies. His final marks on the preseason included 77.4 run defense, 78.3 pass rush, 82.8 tackling and 67.0 coverage grades. His 13 total tackles was among the team’s preseason leaders. Former IU tight end Peyton Hendershot expected to hear his name called during the 2022 NFL Draft. Instead he followed a more challenging path to playing on Sundays. He reached the football summit on Tuesday. After signing with Dallas as an undrafted free agent in April, Hendershot has made the Cowboys’ 53-man roster following a strong training camp, according to multiple reports. The Cowboys later confirmed the reports. Director of Athletics Scott Dolson said on Monday that student season ticket sales have increased by 10 percent, and regular season ticket holders have renewed at encouraging rates.
