The following players are now graduates according to IU: Trayce Jackson-Davis (Sports Marketing) Xavier Johnson (Liberal Studies) Miller Kopp (Liberal Studies) Anthony Leal (Entrepreneurship) Nate Childress (Management) Michael Shipp (Business) Majors are as described in the program’s media guide. Indiana just didn’t get players like this. So when Jerimy Finch transferred from Florida following the 2007, it created a considerable buzz in and around the IU football program. Coming off a 7-6 season and Insight Bowl appearance, Indiana appeared to be a program on the rise, and the addition of Finch only added to the heightened expectations. Jordan Geronimo left Indiana after three seasons and two head coaches, but it won’t be long before he makes a return trip to Bloomington. The 6-foot-6 Geronimo announced a week ago he is staying in the Big Ten with Maryland, and the Terrapins will play at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall during the 2023-24 campaign. Indiana added a promising young defensive lineman on Wednesday evening. Arizona State transfer Robby Harrison announced on his Twitter page he is headed to Bloomington. The 6-foot-4 and 325 pound Harrison has four years of eligibility remaining. He was thought of as a high ceiling prospect and one of the strongest players in the Sun Devil program. Harrison enrolled at Arizona State in January, 2022. He is listed by ASU as having played in three games during the 2022 season. He did not register any stats. Indiana continues to cast a wider 2024 recruiting net after the early spring live recruiting periods. The Hoosiers offered center Patrick Ngongba II on Wednesday, the Virginia product announced on his Twitter page. According to the On3 Industry Ranking average, Ngongba is the No. 94 overall player in the 2024 class, and the No. 10 center. Ngongba attends Fairfax (Va.) Indiana has added in-state forward Ian Stephens as a walk-on in the program. The 6-foot-6 Stephens averaged 15.2 points, and 7.9 rebounds while leading New Palestine H.S. (New Palestine, Ind.) to a school best 23 wins during his 2022-23 senior season. Class of 2024 4-star wing Jonathan Powell says he is down to six schools. The Ohio product told On3’s Joe Tipton on Tuesday he’s considering Indiana, Clemson, Michigan State, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, and Xavier. The 6-foot-6 Powell told Tipton he’d like to wrap up his recruitment by the end of June. Indiana has a close connection with Powell.
