The LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Since its inception in 1994, over 300 players who attended the camp have gone on to careers in the NBA. Each year the camp draws scouts from throughout the league. Indiana picked up a commitment from class of 2024 tight end Hubert Caliste on Tuesday afternoon. The 3-star prospect from New Orleans is ranked the No. 59 tight end nationally according to the On3 Industry Average. Indiana confirmed the nonconference portion of the schedule and published the two exhibition opponents the Hoosiers will face this fall. We now know all 31 opponents on Indiana’s 2023-24 schedule. According to a report by Jon Rothstein on Monday, the Hoosiers will host North Alabama on Dec. 21 in Bloomington. Before he came to IU, Bob Knight became a well known coach at Army in the late 60s. Knight never scheduled the Black Knights during his 29-year run as the Indiana head coach, but his former player Mike Woodson has Army on the Indiana schedule for the first time in program history. Indiana is talking with class of 2024 center Patrick Ngongba about taking an official visit to Bloomington according to a report by Jamie Shaw of On3 from the weekend.
