Few football coaches can bridge their profession with basketball the way Cam Cameron can. Even fewer can weave in an Indiana perspective. The long awaited return of the Indiana vs. Kentucky basketball series will be a primetime affair. The Hoosiers and Wildcats will tip at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday evening, Dec. 13.  The game will be aired to a national audience on ESPN. For a generation, the culture of Wisconsin football was clear as day, even from the outside looking in. Toughness, physicality, in your face, down your throat.  Oh, and winning.  Lots of winning. Indiana football will open the 2026 season on Sept. 5 with a game against North Texas at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, North Texas reported on Wednesday. This was a spot previously filled by Colorado State.  The Bloomington Herald Times is reporting Colorado State paid IU to void that contract. Indiana received good news from the courtroom on Wednesday afternoon. Dallas County, Texas judge Dale Tillery ruled IU football safety Louis Moore won an injunction against the NCAA to remain eligible the rest of the 2025 season. A Temporary Restraining Order clearing Moore for the rest of the season was filed in the Dallas County Court portal. “This Court is of the opinion that Moore is entitled to the issuance of Temporary Injunction and that such an Order is necessary to protect Moore’s rights and interests,” Tillery wrote.  “This Order is necessary because of the immediate need to allow Moore…

Other than all three phases of the game, the Big Ten’s all-time winningest coach has no concerns about Indiana. That was the playful assessment Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz gave of Indiana on Tuesday. The more serious version? The 2025 NFL season is underway, and seven former Hoosiers saw the field in week three. Here’s a quick overview of how they performed. Dan Feeney – Tampa Bay Buccaneers, OL This week featured an IU invasion of the Tampa Bay offensive line. Tampa Bay signed Feeney off Buffalo’s practice squad.  He did not play in his first game with the Bucs.  His return to a roster makes Feeney the active longest tenured former Hoosier in the NFL.  He has played in 120 games over the last eight seasons.  Tampa Bay is his fifth NFL team roster.
