When he heads to IU in just over a week, Bradley transfer guard Connor Hickman won’t need a map. The Bloomington, Ind. native confirmed with The Daily Hoosier he will visit Indiana on April 14.  That news was first reported by the 247Sports Indiana site. Golden State is rounding into NBA Playoff form. So is rookie forward Trayce Jackson-Davis. The former IU consensus All-American registered a career-high 20 points (8-10 FG, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 28 minutes during Thursday’s 133-110 victory over the Rockets. In just over 20 months, the long dormant Indiana vs. Kentucky basketball series will resume. The Hoosiers and Wildcats have agreed to play four games beginning in 2025. The regular season series hit a snag following Indiana’s 2011 win over Kentucky in Bloomington, and many Hoosier fans blamed Wildcats coach John Calipari for hitting the pause button.  And for his part, Calipari did say publicly he had no interest in returning to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Drexel center Amari Williams will visit Indiana later this month. According to a report by Joe Tipton of On3, the 6-foot-10 Williams will be on the IU campus April 19-20. Williams will also visit St. John’s, Creighton and Florida over the course of that same week. The Nottingham, England product led the CAA in blocked shots for the third straight season averaging 1.8 per game. Williams averaged 12.3 points per game and 7.8 rebounds this season, which was fifth in the league. He shot 52.1% from the field and 65.5% percent from the free throw line. Williams has not shot…

Indiana will have Stanford transfer guard Kanaan Carlyle on campus later this month. According to a report by Joe Tipton of On3, Carlyle is visiting Bloomington April 19-21.  Carlyle confirmed the development on his Instagram page. Carlyle is the third-highest rated player in the transfer portal according to On3.  Two of his transferring Stanford teammates — center Maxime Raynaud and guard Andrej Stojakovic are also in the top-20. If Tony Perkins stays in the Big Ten, there’s a good chance he’ll return home and be a Hoosier. Indiana is in a group of six schools the Iowa transfer point guard will consider for his final season of college basketball. According to his Instagram page, Perkins is down to Missouri, Arkansas, Indiana, Oregon, Oklahoma and Ole Miss. Perkins took a visit to Missouri over the weekend. New Indiana class of 2024 commit Bryson Tucker will play in Tuesday’s McDonald’s All-American game. The game tips tonight at 9 p.m. ET at the Toyota Center in Houston, and will air on ESPN. Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, we barely knew you. So far getting transfer portal prospects on campus in Bloomington has been a challenge. Huntley-Hatfield joins Leland Walker and Connor Hickman as reported portal visitors who have at least postponed if not outright cancelled their planned Indiana visits. In the case of Huntley-Hatfield, Joe Tipton of On3 is reporting Monday a visit to IU just announced on Friday has now been cancelled.
