As Indiana football’s spring practice opens, head coach Curt Cignetti faces the challenge of integrating a large group of newcomers, particularly transfers, into a program coming off a national championship.  The influx of transfers has become important to Indiana’s roster construction. The Hoosiers added 17 transfers in the offseason.  After the first day of practice, Cignetti emphasized that the Hoosiers’ early focus isn’t just on execution but on standards.  “When you’ve got that many new guys, it’s sort of your practice standards and the things that you preach that are important to you about playing winning football,” Cignetti said on March 26.…
