In his second-year leading MSU, Smith is 3-3 overall, and 0-3 in the Big Ten. The Spartans have lost their last three games, including a 38-13 home loss to UCLA on Saturday.
No. 3 Indiana (6-0, 3-0) and Michigan State kick Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington (Peacock).
