New Palestine, Ind.’s Charlie Spegal is the state of Indiana’s all-time leading rusher. He produced 10,867 yards in his high school career with 173 touchdowns. His 173 rushing touchdowns and 175 total touchdowns are also Indiana high school records.
Spegal is one of just five players nationally to ever amass 10,000 rushing yards and over 1,000 career points for a high school career.
The 5-foot-9 and 225 pound Indiana Mr. Football winner will play for IU next season.
