IU women’s basketball’s Faith Wiseman is set to enter the transfer portal, per a report from On3.
The forward is the second Indiana player reportedly departing for the portal as of Thursday, joining Phoenix Stotijn.
Wiseman, a Martinsville, Ind. native, entered college hoping to make a lasting impact down the road in Bloomington. But it never materialized for the 6-foot-4 sophomore, appearing in 26 games across her two seasons with the program. She averaged 5.1 minutes per game in her IU career, with 0.3 points and one rebound per game.
The Hoosiers are down to 12 scholarship players remaining for next year’s roster, including their four incoming freshmen. Obviously, more players could join Wiseman and Stotijn in the portal, and Indiana can’t add its own transfers until the portal opens on April 6.
Update: Forward Jade Ondineme is also planning to enter the transfer portal, per On3. This will mark three portal entrants for the Hoosiers.
The junior college transfer appeared in 18 games this season, and took on a more tangible role later in the season. With Zania Socka-Nguemen out with an injury, IU lacked frontcourt depth. Ondineme stepped into the reserve center role behind Edessa Noyan, and though she still played only sparingly, she saw action in six of Indiana’s last eight games, averaging 10.3 minutes.
IU is now down to 11 scholarship players for 2026-27.
