    Indiana loses eight yards on its three plays.  Forces a Campbell 51 yard field goal.

    Huge sack by IU on WKU’s first drive forces a field goal attempt.

    FOURTH QUARTER

    Field goal is NO GOOD.  OVERTIME.

    Four seconds left, 44 yard field goal attempt for WKU.

    TOUCHDOWN IU:  Bazelak to Camper for 4 yards.  Two-point conversion is good (Bazelak to McCulley).  30-30, :47 left.  9-play 75 yard drive for IU.

    FIELD GOAL WKU:  7 plays, 69 yards, but IU holds and now has a chance to tie with a touchdown and two-point conversion.  WKU 30, IU 22.  3:46 left, two timeout for Indiana.

    FIELD GOAL INDIANA:  Charles Campbell good from 32 yards.  WKU 27, IU 22, 7:00 minutes left.

    Indiana scored a touchdown but the play was nullified by offensive pass interference on Donaven McCulley.

    FUMBLE RECOVERED BY INDIANA:  Cam Jones with the strip and IU recovers at the WKU 16.

    9:13 left.  WKU ball at their own 18.

    FIELD GOAL WKU:  A 59 yard run gets the Hilltoppers inside the IU 10, but the Hoosiers hold.  WKU 27  Indiana 19.  11:33 remaining.

    Indiana had a drive stopped but a defensive holding call gives WKU new life.  1st down at the WKU 36, under 14 minutes.

    TOUCHDOWN IU:  Josh Henderson with a 19 yard run.  Two point conversion fails.  WKU 24  Indiana 19.  14:51 left in the game.  Indiana drive 9 plays, 90 yards.

    THIRD QUARTER

    The third quarter ends with IU at the WKU 19 yard line, 1st and 10.

    INTERCEPTION:  Myles Jackson with a pick for IU in the end zone.  Ball was tipped by Bradley Jennings.  Ends a seven play 65 yard drive that could have put the game in serious jeopardy if WKU had scored.

    WKU QB Austin Reed is 26-of-31 for 295 yards.  He is just picking IU apart so far.

    TOUCHDOWN WKU:  9 plays, 72 yards, Reed runs it in from the one.  WKU 24, IU 13.  7:37 left in the quarter.

    FIELD GOAL IU:  Charles Campbell is good from 32 yards.  It’s WKU 17, IU 13, with 12:20 left in the third.  Indiana drive 11 play, 62 yards.

    Big drop by D.J. Matthews on a bomb from Bazelak to open the half.  But Shaun Shivers runs for 32 yards to get IU’s first drive going.

    HALFTIME STATS

    SECOND QUARTER

    HALFTIME:  17-10 Western Kentucky leads.  Indiana will receive the second half kickoff.

    Indiana’s final drive ended with a Hail Mary by Bazelak that was incomplete.  IU passed up a chance to kick a 58 yard field goal.

    FIELD GOAL WKU:  Aided by the penalty, IU gets a stop after WKU had 1st and goal.  17-10 WKU, 47 second left.

    Mullen back on the field for IU, makes a nice tackle.

    WKU scored a touchdown but it was called back due to a holding penalty.  1:55 left.

    Tiawan Mullen came off the field with an injury with 3:06 left.

    Indiana forces a 3-and-out after the turnover.  WKU punt pins IU inside their own five  5:34 left in the half, still 14-10 WKU.

    Fumble by IU in the WKU red zone.  Backwards pass to Shivers recovered by the Hilltoppers. 8 minutes left in the half.

    TOUCHDOWN WKU:  44 yard TD pass.  3 plays, 65 yards.  Drive set up by kickoff out-of-bounds.  14-10 WKU, 11:02 remaining in the half.

    TOUCHDOWN INDIANA:  Bazelak to Coby for 5 yards.  10-7 Indiana, 11:44 until halftime.  Score set up by great field position.  6 plays, 41 yards.

    FIRST QUARTER

    WKU pinned at its own one to end the quarter.  7-3 Hilltoppers after one.

    48-yard pass play, Bazelak to McCulley has IU in WKU territory.

    TOUCHDOWN WKU:  26-yard TD pass.  7-3 WKU, 1:37.  Play set up by IU decision to go for it on fourth down at mid-field.

    IU ends a WKU drive with a fourth down stop.  Noah Pierre in coverage.  First down IU at their own 33.  4:27 left.

    Touchdown by WKU on a reverse called back due to a block in the back.

    FIELD GOAL IU:  Charles Campbell is good from 34 yards out.  3-0 Indiana, 8:36 left.

    Caleb Murphy a late starter at center after Zach Carpenter was injured in pre-game, per BTN crew.

    Dasan McCullough ends WKU’s first drive with a nine yard sack.  First down IU at their own 35.  11:52 remaining.

    Indiana wins the toss and defers to the second half.

    • Defensive end James Head, Jr. is in uniform and appears ready to make his debut today.  Head was expected to be the starter during fall camp but will likely be eased into the rotation today.
