Indiana flipped its online roster to 2026 this week.
The change eliminates the players who have exhausted their eligibility or left the team, and adds all of the new players — both transfers and freshmen.
Here are few notes from the update:
TYLER CHERRY IS BACK: 4-star quarterback Tyler Cherry, who suffered a knee injury in Dec. 2024 at the very end of his true freshman season, is back on the roster. He is listed as a redshirt freshman. A product of Greenwood, Ind., Cherry served in an administrative student assistant role and was not part of the team in 2025. The 6-foot-5 and 219-pound Cherry appeared in one game in 2024.
GRANT WILSON IS LISTED: Backup quarterback Grant Wilson is listed on the roster. It was known he planned to return, but he required a waiver to be eligible.
HOOVER SHRINKING: Texas Christian listed quarterback Josh Hoover at 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds. He debuted on the IU roster at 6-foot and 194 pounds.
SAFETY BRYSON BONDS NOT LISTED: Reserve safety Bryson Bonds could request a waiver for an additional year of eligibility, but he is not listed on the roster at this point.
