Indiana and Purdue kick at 7:30 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on NBC.

    ———————————————————

    FINAL STATS

    FOURTH QUARTER

Indiana takes over once again at their own 14 with 6:54 left.

TOUCHDOWN INDIANA: After another stop, Alberto Mendoza finds Davion Chandler, and he gets free for a 65-yard score. Nice moment for two younger guys who have a lot of upside. All Hoosiers in West Lafayette.

    THIRD QUARTER

TOUCHDOWN INDIANA: Here comes the pummeling. Khobie Martin finishes up a two-play drive with a 21-yard rush, set up by a Mendoza 58-yard run. Martin’s TD will end the quarter.

The Boilermakers have to punt it away again. Indiana will come out with Alberto Mendoza with the offense.

TOUCHDOWN INDIANA: What an effort by Omar Cooper to stay alive and convert. Mendoza floats a good ball, and Cooper breaks a few tackles while going backwards and somehow finds the end zone. IU is well on its way to its first undefeated regular season.

Forced fumble on 3rd and long has Indiana starting at Purdue’s 42. Stephen Daley forced out the ball.

TOUCHDOWN INDIANA: Indiana takes it the length of the field with the run game, and a 17-yard screen pass finishes it off to Elijah Sarratt. Beautiful start to the half for the Hoosiers.

    SECOND QUARTER

TOUCHDOWN INDIANA: Roman Hemby breaks away for an 82-yard touchdown. It seemed like it was almost a matter of time. IU is up to 209 rushing yards, compared to Purdue’s 12. Hemby has 130 alone.

Purdue can’t quite get into field goal position and will have to punt. IU has two timeouts and will take over at their own 18.

TOUCHDOWN INDIANA: It takes just two plays for IU to find the endzone. Kaelon Black finds the endzone for the second time tonight. PAT is good. Purdue will have 3:40 to respond before the end of the half.

Indiana’s defense is all over Purdue right now. Another three-and-out, and the punt ends up at Purdue’s 36. Prime position for IU’s offense with 4:25 left.

Hoosiers now punt it right back. Mendoza is 5-11 for 42 yards. Has certainly struggled a bit to begin. Purdue takes over at their own 15.

Indiana forces a punt from Purdue. Mendoza and company to take over at the Indiana 19 with 7:57 to play.

TOUCHDOWN INDIANA: Fernando Mendoza rushes in from seven yards for the touchdown. IU goes 11 plays and 65 yards. 10:29 left in the half.

    FIRST QUARTER

FIELD GOAL PURDUE: The Boilermakers are on the board. 11 plays and 67 yards. IU will take over with 46 seconds in the quarter.

Indiana punts right back to Purdue. Mendoza is still getting used to the cooler temperatures, it seems. Purdue takes over at their own 28.

Three and out forced by IU’s defense. Purdue’s punt is downed at the Indiana 30. Offense on the field with 7:31 left.

TOUCHDOWN INDIANA: Kaelon Black up the middle for the 1-yard score. 5 plays and 40 yards to get on the board. 8:03 left in the quarter.
