    FINAL: Nebraska 85, Indiana 68

    SECOND HALF

Woodson takes a timeout with 3:23 left, and Nebraska is up 78-67.

    • Goode had two opportunities to make it 75-70, and missed both. Juwan Gary comes down and hits one for Nebraska. That could be it.

Final media timeout and Nebraska leads 72-67.

    • Indiana has just one make of their last 11 attempts on offense, and it’s still a five-point game.
    • Brice Williams has been amazing for Nebraska. 23 points on the night. No one on Indiana’s roster has been able to contain him.

Hoosiers still trail 68-64 with 7:37 left.

    • Nebraska will be in the bonus for the remainder of the game. Foul trouble on both sides, but the whistle has been hitting Indiana more. Four Hoosiers have three fouls, and Reneau has four.

Cornhuskers lead 62-58 with 11:16 left.

    • Nebraska has had multiple chances to pull away, but Myles Rice is keeping the Hoosiers in the game. 10 second-half points for him, 16 overall.
    • Indiana has to get stops as time winds down. Nebraska is still shooting 61 percent from the field.

    Nebraska 51, Indiana 47 with 15:46 left.

    • More fouls to start the second half. Indiana with three, Nebraska with two. Goode has three fouls so far.
    • Curious to see how Mgbako responds. He has two points quickly in this half, along with two rebounds and an assist.

    HALFTIME: Nebraska 44, Indiana 41

    FIRST HALF

Back and forth we go, Nebraska now leading 40-37 with 2:32 left.

    • Cornhuskers on a 7-0 run, but Indiana’s defense hasn’t looked bad in that time. Juwan Gary hit two heavily contested shots, and the Hoosiers did everything right. Still, Nebraska is 67 percent from the field, which can’t happen.
    • Ballo leads all scorers for Indiana with eight points. He’s looked solid, even though Nebraska’s defense has taken him out of the equation at times.

Media timeout right at eight minutes, Nebraska still leads 29-28.

    • The Hoosiers are 5-9 on three-pointers tonight so far. Two of those were made by Luke Goode.
    • Nebraska is shooting 71 percent from the field so far, but only on 14 attempts.

Cornhuskers with a 19-18 lead with 11:48 left.

    • Great few defensive possessions for the Hoosiers. Five forced turnovers since they started 5-for-5. Indiana scored five points off of them.
    • Looks like Anthony Leal is going to get minutes, which isn’t surprising with some players hurting in the back court.

Media timeout called with 14:47 left, and Nebraska still leads 17-10.

    • Rice with a few steals on the defensive end leading to a bucket and an assist. No signs of anything bothering him health-wise.

Nebraska ahead 13-3 with 16:50 left in the first.

    • Horrible start on the defensive end for the Hoosiers. Mgbako picked up two fouls in the first minute, and the team has four total already. Nebraska is 5-for-5 from the field as well.
    • Offensively, the first few sets have looked rough. Ballo has been doubled every time he has the ball, and hasn’t looked comfortable in that pressure.

    PREGAME NOTES

    • Both Jakai Newton and Myles Rice are listed as questionable today, while Cupps remains OUT.
    • Rice was seen warming up during pregame. All signs point to him playing.
    • Rice will start, along with Galloway, Mgbako, Reneau and Ballo.
