As Indiana shows interest in transfer portal prospects we’ll provide a quick profile with our transfer portal names to know series.

Of course we’ll cover prospects more if things progress beyond initial interest.

Next up is another Indiana product, Evansville forward Ben Humrichous.

In his first season at UE, Humrichous established himself as one of the best players in the Missouri Valley Conference.

He completed the season averaging 14.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game while shooting 48.4% from the field. The 2024 MVC Scholar-Athlete of the year finished the season ranked in the top ten in the league in multiple statistics including field goal percentage, 3-point percentage, 3-point makes and blocks.

The 6-foot-9 Humrichous shot 41.4 percent from three on 82 attempts.  He made 75.7 percent of his free throws.

In Evansville’s comeback against Chattanooga, Humrichous scored a season-high 29 points before adding 27 in a victory over Southeast Missouri State.

Humrichous came to Evansville from Huntington (Ind.) University.  As a junior at Huntington in 2022-23, he averaged 12.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.  He finished last season as a 46.4% shooter from the field while knocking down 35.8% of his outside attempts in just over 32 minutes per game.

The Indiana native earned Indiana All-State Honorable Mention accolades in 2020 with Tipton High School.

He should have one year of eligibility remaining.  His junior season highlights are below.
