Indiana will face the University of Central Florida at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Saturday Dec. 12.
That’s according to the schedule announced by UCF on Monday.
The game will mark the first ever meeting between the schools in men’s basketball.
A member of the Big 12 Conference, UCF is led by head coach Johnny Dawkins, who is entering his 11th season at the school.
The Knights went 21-12 in 2025-26 and were a No. 10 seed in the NCAA Tournament. They lost to UCLA in the first round. UCF lost several key members of that team, including Riley Kugel (14.4 PPG), Themus Fulks (14.0 PPG), and Jordan Burks (13.3 PPG).
UCF finished No. 59 in Torvik last year with the No. 45 offense and No. 103 defense.
7-foot-2 John Bol is the top returning scorer on last year’s team, at 5.9 points per game.
Dawkins welcomes five incoming transfers who scored in double-digits a year ago: Dior Johnson (24.0 PPG at Tarleton State), Lewis Walker (18.9 PPG at North Carolina A&T), Isaiah Malone (10.5 PPG at Florida Gulf Coast), Cayden Vasko (10.4 PPG at Wofford), and Mister Dean (10.3 PPG at Charleston).
This is the fifth nonconference game IU will play against a high major opponent, and the second that is coming to Bloomington. The Hoosiers will also meet Syracuse, Arkansas, Kentucky on neutral courts, and also host Missouri.
30 of Indiana’s 32 opponents for the 2026-27 season are now known. For more details, GO HERE:
