Indiana continues to expand its class of 2026 offer list under the direction of the new coaching staff.
On Monday evening Caleb Gaskins announced an offer from IU.
According to the On3 Industry Average, Gaskins is a 5-star prospect, the No. 11 overall player in the class, and the No. 4 small forward.
The 6-foot-8 Gaskins transferred to Miami, Fla. Christopher Columbus H.S. to play his junior season after transferring from Montverde Academy. He teamed up at Columbus with five-star Duke commit Cam Boozer, his twin brother and Duke commit Cayden Boozer and 2026 five-star Jaxson Richardson.
As a junior at Columbus, Gaskin averaged 13.6 points and 6.3 rebounds while shooting 54% from the field and 33% from three.
In three games at Chipotle Nationals, the five-star averaged 9.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game with four total blocks. Columbus, the No. 1 seed, ended up winning the title over No. 10 Dynamic Prep, 67-49.
Gaskins is originally from Melbourne, Fla. He is a versatile wing who can score efficiently at all three levels, and he defends and rebounds at a very high level.
This spring and summer, Gaskins is playing with Nightrydas Elite on the Nike EYBL circuit.
It looks like incoming IU assistant coach Rod Clark has the Hoosiers involved with Gaskins.
Gaskins has a long list of offers including LSU, Auburn, Texas, Georgia Tech, Villanova, Michigan, Mississippi State, Maryland, Washington, Alabama, Florida State, Georgia and Baylor.
