Indiana has offered class of 2026 point guard Anthony Brown, he announced Wednesday on his social media accounts.
The 6-foot-1 Brown attends Archbishop Carroll in Washington D.C. He’s ranked a national top-70 4-star by 247Sports and ESPN.
Brown is coming off a breakout Nike EYBL spring and summer season in which he averaged 18.9 points. 4.7 assists, and 3.5 rebounds while leading Team Durant to the final eight at the Peach Jam.
Brown recently narrowed his list of potential colleges to ten before IU made the offer. Those schools are Maryland, Mississippi State, Villanova, VCU, UCF, Tennessee, Memphis, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and Vanderbilt. He has plans to visit several of those programs in the weeks to come.
We’ll now see if Indiana makes a late move and can also get a visit. Hoosiers assistant Kenny Johnson has extensive connections in the Washington D.C. area where Brown is from.
IU has also been heavily involved with 2026 point guards Tay Kinney, Deron Rippey and Jordan Smith, Jr. This offer could signal the direction the staff feels those recruitments are headed.
Brown’s summer highlights are below.
