The 6-foot-4 and 180-pound Moody attends Bishop McNamara H.S. in Maryland.
According to the average of the national recruiting sites, Moody is a 4-star recruit, the No. 108 overall player in the 2026 class, and the No. 27 shooting guard.
On film Moody is a shifty three-level scorer and a very good athlete.
Moody’s offer list includes Georgetown, Maryland, Illinois, Providence Rhode Island, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Oklahoma State, Michigan State, Georgia and Syracuse.
Moody plays spring and summer basketball for Team Takeover on the Nike EYBL circuit. Indiana also offered his AAU teammate Jordan Smith, Jr. on Thursday. New IU assistant coach Kenny Johnson has a longstanding connection to Team Takeover. Johnson was recruiting Moody for Georgetown before he took the IU job.
