Indiana will host class of 2024 top-20 wing Tyler Betsey on an official visit in Bloomington June 14-16, according to Andrew Slater.

Betsey will also visit UConn and Creighton during the month of June according to a subsequent report by Travis Branham of 247Sports.

The Connecticut product is a 4-star and the No. 19 overall player in the class of 2024 according to the On3 Industry Average.

The 6-foot-8 Betsey is one of the better shooters in the 2024 class.  He teams with fellow IU target Dylan Harper on the New York Renaissance on the Nike EYBL Circuit.  Harper visited IU in November and recently placed Indiana in his top-five schools.

This will be Betsey’s first visit to IU since the Hoosiers offered him last summer.  The IU staff has watched him live multiple times since offering.

On the Nike EYBL this spring, Betsey averaged 11.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 22.9 minutes per contest.  His shooting splits were 39 percent overall, 35.1 percent from three, and 86.2 percent from the free throw line.

Betsey also has offers from the likes of Duke, Kansas, Alabama, Auburn, Michigan State, and several others.

Betsey’s visit will overlap with fellow 2024 5-star Boogie Fland.

The class of 2024 Indiana official visit schedule thus far for June is as follows:

    • Jaeden Mustaf – June 8-10
    • Boogie Fland – June 13-15
    • Tyler Betsey – June 14-16
