Indiana is hoping for its biggest, most engaged crowd of the season when Purdue arrives in Bloomington.
And to help create more energy, IU is bringing back the stripe out concept to the stands for their home game against the Boilers Tuesday evening. Fans are being asked to wear red or white in alternating sections to create a striping effect that mimics the program’s legendary candy stripe pants.
Indiana first held a stripe out in 2008 when the Hoosiers hosted Michigan State, and they’ve done it multiple times since, including the home game against Kansas in 2023, and last year against UCLA.
For students attending the game, t-shirts will be provided at each seat.
For the rest of the fans, here is a color-coded map of the arena to help make sure you wear the proper color.

Fans can also enter their seat information at this IU Athletics web page to confirm their color.
Indiana and No. 12 Purdue tip at 9 p.m. ET Tuesday inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall (Peacock).
