The 2025 NFL season is underway, and six former Hoosiers saw the field in week two.
Here’s a quick overview of how they performed.
Cam Jones – New York Jets
Jones played 20 special teams snaps in week two on four different units. He had a tackle and earned a good special teams grade on PFF.
Marcelino McCrary-Ball – New York Jets
Playing alongside Jones, McCrary-Ball played 26 special teams snaps for the Jets on Sunday. He plays on five different special teams units.
He also played 28 snaps at linebacker on defense.
He earned good grades at PFF for special teams and tackling, but poor grades for pass coverage and run defense.
In total McCrary-Ball had a productive afternoon with five tackles. It’s the second straight game he had five tackles.
Micah McFadden – New York Giants
McFadden did not play in week two. He is on injured reserve with a long-term foot injury.
Before the injury during week one, McFadden had three tackles and a quarterback hit. This is his fourth season in the NFL. He has 270 tackles, 26 tackles for loss and six sacks for his career.
Myles Price – Minnesota Vikings
After going undrafted this spring, Price is the starting punt returner and kickoff returner for the Vikings.
Price returned three punts for six yards (2.0 average), and six kickoffs for 135 yards (22.5 average).
Price fumbled on his final chance to return a punt late in the fourth quarter, effectively ending the game.
For the second straight week Price did not see any action with the Vikings offense.
Ian Thomas – Las Vegas Raiders
Now in his eighth year, Thomas is currently the longest-tenured former Hoosier in the NFL. After playing with the Carolina Panthers his first seven years, Thomas is now with the Raiders.
He played seven offensive snaps and seven special teams snaps in week two and did not produce any stats. He received a good pass blocking grade on PFF, an average run blocking grade, and a poor special teams mark.
Thomas has 119 catches for 1,062 yards for his NFL career.
CJ West – San Francisco 49ers
The rookie defensive lineman saw the field in week two for the 49ers. He played 13 snaps on defense.. For the second straight week, West did not produce any stats. At PFF he received the second-best pass rush grade on the team, and a poor mark in run defense.
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine – Miami Dolphins
Now in his sixth year in the NFL after going undrafted, Westbrook-Ikhine is playing his first season with Miami.
He played 16 offensive snaps and nine special teams snaps in week two. Westbrook-Ikhine caught two passes for 18 yards on three targets. According to PFF he was the second-highest graded offensive player for Miami.
Westbrook-Ikhine now has 129 catches for 1,798 yards and 19 touchdowns for his six-year career.

Quarterback Kurtis Rourke is with the San Francisco 49ers on the injured list recovering from offseason knee surgery.
Former Hoosier Michael Penix, Jr. is the starting quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons, and tight end AJ Barner is playing a significant role for the Seattle Seahawks. They finished their college careers with Washington and Michigan, respectively. Former IU cornerback Kobee Minor has also seen the field this year for New England.
